This research examined the ecological importance of whales and their essential role in maintaining healthy marine ecosystems and global environmental stability. Drawing on scientific literature, conservation reports, and ecological research, the study explored how whale population declines affect marine biodiversity, food web dynamics, and the long-term sustainability of ocean ecosystems.

In addition to the scientific analysis, the research included a critical review of whale-related literature, examining how environmental writing can deepen public understanding of whale conservation and humanity's relationship with the natural world. By integrating scientific evidence with literary perspectives, the study emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to marine conservation while encouraging greater public awareness and environmental responsibility. Presented at the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation (EUROINVENT), the research was recognized with the Gold Medal for its scientific quality and contribution to environmental conservation.
